An amber befitting of its name. Sophisticated and regal. This is the amber to wear when you are dressed to the nines.
Benzoin is the star here and is present from start to finish. The bittersweet resinous tang of benzoin’s initial character is paired with aromatic bay leaf and oregano. It then transitions into a more woody, spicy amber; giving way to the sweeter and more vanillic qualities of benzoin and the amber accord as it dries down, without ever getting too sweet.
The masterful blending; its regal character; the quality for the price; this is one of the better amber-based fragrances out there, and a personal favorite of mine.
