What it is: A bestseller since its launch, this modern scent captures the purity of the mountains through soft, milky-sweet blackcurrants mixed with green tea, and the richness of bergamot and sandalwood.
Fragrance story: The adventurous Silver Mountain Water evokes sparkling streams coursing through the snowcapped Swiss Alps, a bracing landscape in which Olivier Creed, a championship skier, finds relaxation and renewal. Its opaque white bottle hints at icy snowbanks and is topped with a glistening cap like a glacial silver stream.
Style: Marine, green, fresh.
Notes:
– Top: bergamot, mandarin, neroli.
– Middle: green tea, blackcurrant bud.
– Base: sandalwood, musk.

Wendy Wagner Welch –
This is a truly unisex scent. It smells completely different on me vs. my husband. On me, a get water, fresh lime and coconut, a perfect summer fragrance!

I think Wendy’s review got mixed up and was supposed to be for Virgin Island Water.
Silver Mountain Water has a wonderful tea and ink note that just works.

If I had a signature scent, this would be it. I’ve been wearing this for 15+ years….maybe closer to 20.
I’ve never attempted to describe this scent before and honestly I’d say it’s just really unique and to give it a try. When I started wearing it I got the feeling many fewer people knew about it and it got a lot of compliments. Now taking me to my 20 year high school reunion (part of which was to watch the high schools home coming game) — I was walking with my fiance through the crowd and a high school girl who was walking with her friend caught a whiff of it through the air. She stopped smiled and just took it in and looked like she was in pure bliss. It was a very crowded area and she had no idea who was wearing it, but it was clear it was the SMW. I generally thought this might appeal to an older audience…..but it wasn’t true that day.
Anyway, this scent IMO is one of the few versitile enough to be a true signature scent. It’s generally seen as a spring/summer scent, but it holds up in the fall/winter with an extra spray or two. You can wear it to something casual, or you can wear it to a more formal occasion. I think you can wear it in day and night. And importantly, it’s unique and I don’t believe enough people are wearing this that you’d smell like everyone else if you wore it (IE not like aventus).
Max Forti always talks and says he wants his kids to rememeber him / associate him with (I think Green Irish Tweed by Creed). To me, I think this is the scent I’d want my children to remember me by.

This fragrance is unisex. It can be worn year round if you ask me. It’s green and fresh. According to Creed’s website it was created for the cold months. Some would refer to this fragrance as, “Mr. Steal your girl”. The longevity is 8 plus hours on skin.
