CHRISTIAN DIOR

Christian Dior developed a love of fashion when he was just 5 years old. He would sell his fashion sketches outside of his home in France for 10 cents each. Dior designed for multiple large fashion houses in his youth before founding his own in 1946. Wasting no time, he launched Christian Dior Parfumes just one year later. Still a cult classic to this day, Miss Dior was the very first perfume created by the house of Dior. This powerhouse brand has released over 50 fragrances for men and women and show no signs of slowing down. GIVENCHY

Givenchy fragrances are designed to convey a wide range of emotions. Ysatis perfume was launched in 1984; Amarige perfume in 1991; and Organza fragrance in 1996, each to critical acclaim. Very Irrésistible Givenchy, launched in 2003 and promoted by actress Liv Tyler, combines both femininity and boldness in a unique perfume. Ange Ou Démon perfume is described by the company as “an exceptional fragrance between dream and extreme refinement.” Givenchy's men's fragrance line began with Monsieur de Givenchy cologne, launched in 1959. Additional scents followed, with Givenchy Gentleman in 1975, Xeryus in the 1980s, and Pi in the 1990s. HUGO BOSS

In 1993, 70 years after its founding, Hugo Boss launched their first fragrance, and created a division which has since grown to be an important part of the company. Women’s fragrances include femme by Boss, Boss Intense and Boss Women perfumes. Men’s scents feature the classic Boss Bottles cologne, as well as Boss Soul, Boss in Motion, Boss In Motion Limited Edition and Boss Selection. MAISON MARGIELA

Maison Martin Margiela embodies the “anti-brand” par excellence. The Belgian designer creates fashion with a revolutionary statement. The color white plays a central role for the designer. PACO RABANNE

Paco Rabanne presented his first fragrance, Calandre, in 1969. Meant for an active woman, it’s a cypress-heavy perfume that was considered revolutionary for its time. In 1973, he introduced his first men’s fragrance, Paco Rabanne pour homme, which was the first aromatic scent on the market. XS Pour Elle was introduced much later in 1995 as a soft floral, followed by his first unisex fragrance, Paco, in 1996, which was presented in a recyclable metal bottle. Two years later, Paco Energy was created, and a year later, Ultraviolet perfume for women made its debut. The men’s version of Ultraviolet cologne rolled out in 2001.
