Savage sex appeal.
Musc Ravageur enhances the magnetic aspect of musk with amber, vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood, at the total exclusion of floral notes.
Having caused a scandal when the perfume first appeared in 2000, Musc Ravageur is now celebrated in all its sensuousness as the Sistine Chapel of the Amber Oriental tradition.
Frederic Malle, born into a family steeped in the perfume industry, put his rich heritage to use by launching Editions de Parfums in 2001. Frederic Malle perfumes are crafted with utmost freedom and precision, meticulously moving from the rough sketch of a scent to a fully-realized composition. Whether it is the signature Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady collection or the Monsieur line created by master perfumer Bruno Jovanovic, each "perfume author" draws attention back to the art of perfume making.

For niche taste rather than designer, I like it but sample first

Wow! I can confidently say this is the sexiest fragrance I have ever smelled. However, you must like musks in order to enjoy this one. Additionally, it is spicy, sweet vanilla, resinous amber, and woody. The composition is masterfully blended; the quality is very high; it is creative and unique.
This is one of those benchmark fragrances that I recommend everyone sample. Even if you happen not to like it, it will serve to expand your horizons as far as appreciating what the art of perfumery is capable of.
